Privacy Policy

Last updated: [[DATUM DER VERÖFFENTLICHUNG]]

This privacy policy is a translation provided for convenience. The German version is legally binding.

1. Privacy at a glance

This website is operated by ASS Auto-Service Schiebel. We process personal data only to the extent necessary to run the website and to handle your appointment request.

In practice that means two things: the technical access data that arises whenever any website is called up (server log files), and the details you enter yourself into the appointment request form. There are no analytics or tracking services on this website, no advertising networks, no social networks and no embedded third-party content.

2. Controller

ASS Auto-Service Schiebel Owner Andreas Schiebel Askanierring 93 13587 Berlin, Germany Phone +49 30 336 99 07 E-mail [email protected]

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider. Data collected on this website is stored on that provider's servers.

HOSTING-ANBIETER UND ANSCHRIFT EINTRAGEN

The hosting provider is used in order to fulfil our contract with existing and prospective customers, and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online offering (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

AUFTRAGSVERARBEITUNGSVERTRAG (AVV) VORHANDEN — JA/NEIN

4. Server log files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and the security of our website.

Retention period: SPEICHERDAUER SERVER-LOGS EINTRAGEN, z. B. 7 TAGE

5. Cookies

This website sets no cookies for analytics, marketing or tracking purposes. No profiles are built and no data is passed to third parties for advertising.

Because only technically necessary processes take place, this website requires no cookie banner and no consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG.

6. Appointment requests and the contact form

When you send us an appointment request through the form, we process the details you enter: name, phone number, e-mail address where given, vehicle, registration, preferred date and preferred time, and your message.

The sole purpose of the processing is to handle your appointment request and to get back to you. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, together with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures.

The data is not passed to third parties without your consent. We keep it until your enquiry has been dealt with; statutory retention periods — in particular under commercial and tax law — remain unaffected.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, without formality — for example by e-mail to [email protected]. The lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal is unaffected.

7. Map and directions

No third-party map is embedded on this website. The location is shown as an image served from our own server.

Only when you actively click “Open in Google Maps” do you leave this website and call up a service of Google Ireland Limited. From that point their privacy terms apply. No data whatsoever is transmitted to Google before your click.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and a right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).

Consent once given may be withdrawn at any time with future effect under Art. 7 (3) GDPR.

Independently of this, you have the right under Art. 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).

9. SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons, and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL / TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from “http://” to “https://”. When encryption is active, the data you send us cannot be read by third parties.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy whenever the legal situation or the technology used on this website changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
